Terms of Service

These terms govern use of PCNRescue.uk and purchases of our digital PCN analysis and appeal-preparation products. Please read them before buying.

Legal infoTermsPrivacyCookiesCancellation & refundsComplaints

1. Who the contract is with

Your contract is with the legal operator identified in our Legal information, trading as PCNRescue.uk. The public business address and contact details are shown there and form part of these terms.

Legal operator
Jacek Woznicki
Trading name
PCNRescue.uk
Business / service address

2. What PCNRescue.uk provides

PCNRescue.uk is an online self-help service that can read parking and traffic notices, organise case information, identify matters worth checking and prepare draft appeal material using automated and AI-assisted tools. Paid products currently include a case-specific Appeal Letter and a Full Appeal Pack with additional evidence/submission guidance.

The exact features and total price shown on the checkout page immediately before payment are the features and price that apply to your order. Paid products are one-off purchases unless the checkout expressly says otherwise.

3. What the service is not

PCNRescue.uk is not a firm of solicitors, does not present itself as an SRA-regulated law firm and does not create a solicitor-client relationship. We do not conduct litigation, exercise rights of audience, act as your legal representative, or attend court or tribunal for you.

Our output is information and drafting assistance based on the material available to us. It is not a guarantee that an appeal is legally valid, that every possible ground has been identified, or that an authority/operator/tribunal will accept the challenge.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide information that is accurate and not deliberately misleading.
  • Upload only documents and personal information you are entitled to provide, and only material relevant to the case.
  • Check extracted details, vehicle registration, dates, notice numbers, factual statements and any draft before using it.
  • Check the deadline stated on the original notice and any later correspondence. PCN deadlines can be short and can change after further notices.
  • Submit the final representation or appeal yourself and to the correct authority/operator/tribunal unless a feature expressly states that PCNRescue.uk submits it for you. The current service does not automatically file an appeal.

5. Accounts and age

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Paid products are intended for customers aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should make the purchase and use the service with you.

6. Prices and payment

The total amount payable is shown before you place the order. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any taxes that we are required to include in the displayed consumer price. There is no recurring subscription for the current Appeal Letter or Full Appeal Pack.

Payments are processed by Stripe. PCNRescue.uk receives transaction identifiers and payment status but does not store your full card number or card security code.

7. When a paid contract is formed and delivered

Before payment, the checkout page identifies the selected product, total price, one-off nature of the payment, key service information and the cancellation acknowledgements. A paid contract is formed when Stripe confirms successful payment and PCNRescue.uk accepts that confirmation for the case.

The digital service normally starts immediately after payment and the purchased draft/pack is generated and made available through the case. We also send an order confirmation to the customer email recorded for the purchase.

8. 14-day cancellation right and immediate digital supply

Consumers buying at a distance generally have a 14-day cancellation period, subject to statutory exceptions and rules for services and digital content. Because PCNRescue.uk is designed to generate the purchased material immediately, checkout asks you separately to: (1) expressly request that performance and digital supply begin before the cancellation period ends, and (2) acknowledge that the change-of-mind cancellation right may be lost once the digital content is supplied and/or the service is fully performed.

If you do not give the required immediate-supply acknowledgements, we do not start the Stripe checkout for the paid digital product. Full details, including how to cancel where a cancellation right still exists, are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Read cancellation and refund rules.

9. Your statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill, and digital content must meet the standards required by consumer law. If the service or digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet statutory requirements, you may be entitled to the remedies provided by law, which can include repeat performance, repair/replacement, a price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

10. AI and accuracy limitations

AI and automated extraction can misread scans, dates, signs, statutory wording or the significance of evidence. PCNRescue.uk therefore does not guarantee that an analysis is complete or error-free. Where information is unclear, the service may ask for more documents or facts. You should not invent facts to fill gaps.

A statement that a point is “possible”, “worth checking” or similar is not a promise that it is a valid ground in your case. The result depends on the complete notice, evidence, applicable rules and facts.

11. Deadlines and outcomes

We do not control the issuer, parking operator, tribunal, postal service or third-party appeal portals. We cannot guarantee that an authority will pause enforcement, preserve a discount, accept late representations or cancel a notice. Unless a feature explicitly confirms otherwise, PCNRescue.uk does not monitor your statutory deadline after producing the material.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to submit false evidence, impersonate another person, interfere with the website, probe or bypass security controls, upload malware, scrape accounts/case data, or use the service for unlawful activity. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, data or the service, investigate abuse, comply with law or prevent fraud.

13. Documents, intellectual property and generated drafts

You retain your rights in documents and factual material that you upload. You give us the limited permission needed to host, copy, convert, extract and process that material solely to provide, secure and administer the service and to meet legal obligations.

For paid case material generated for you, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide right to use, edit, copy, print and submit that material for your own case. Our website code, branding, general templates, interface and other service materials remain ours or our licensors’ property.

14. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Hosting, AI, payment or network providers can fail or undergo maintenance. If a paid service cannot be supplied as contracted because of our failure, your statutory rights and the remedies in the Cancellation & Refund Policy apply.

15. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

If we breach the contract, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for consequences caused by inaccurate/incomplete information you supplied, for a deadline you miss after the relevant deadline was available in your documents or clearly brought to your attention, or for the independent decision of an authority/operator/tribunal.

The service is supplied for personal consumer use. We are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit, lost business, business interruption or lost commercial opportunity where you use the service wholly or mainly for business purposes.

16. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, contact us using the Complaints Procedure. We will investigate the complaint fairly and provide a response. If we cannot resolve a consumer-contract complaint, our final response will provide the information about an appropriate accredited ADR provider that we are required to give under applicable law and will state whether we are required or willing to use that ADR process. We do not make ADR compulsory for you unless the law says otherwise. Complaints Procedure.

17. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the part of the UK where you live. You can bring proceedings in the courts that consumer law allows you to use, including the courts of your home part of the UK where applicable.

18. Changes to these terms and contact

We may change these terms for future use of the service because the product, providers or law changes. The terms accepted for an existing paid order remain recorded by version. We will not retrospectively remove statutory rights from an existing order.
