FAQ

Questions before you start.

Clear answers about the free check, paid documents, accounts and your data.

Is the first PCN check really free?
Yes. You can upload a supported notice and receive the first assessment without entering card details. Payment is only requested if you later choose an Appeal Letter or Full Appeal Pack.
What do I get in the free check?
PCNRescue extracts key information from the supplied document, surfaces important dates where they can be established safely, identifies issues worth checking and tells you what additional information or evidence could improve the assessment.
What is the difference between the £6.99 letter and the £12.99 full pack?
The £6.99 Appeal Letter is mainly the case-specific letter plus a basic submission note. The £12.99 Full Appeal Pack is designed to prepare almost everything practical: the letter with your supplied details, the current stage and recipient, verified contact/submission route where available, ready copy/paste text, evidence checklist, numbered send steps and what to do if the appeal is rejected. Both are one-off purchases for that case.
Does PCNRescue guarantee that my ticket will be cancelled?
No. The decision always belongs to the council, TfL, parking operator or the relevant appeal body. PCNRescue helps you understand the notice and prepare your case; it does not promise a particular outcome.
Which notices can I upload?
The current service is designed for UK council PCNs, TfL notices and private parking charge notices. If the document is incomplete, upload the remaining pages or evidence when the result asks for them.
Can I add more documents after the first check?
Yes. You can add further pages, photographs or other relevant evidence to the same case and run the assessment again.
Does PCNRescue submit the appeal for me?
Not automatically. The current service prepares the assessment and, if purchased, the appeal material for you to review. You remain responsible for checking the final document and submitting it through the correct channel before the relevant deadline.
Is the AI always correct?
No automated analysis is infallible. PCNRescue is designed to flag uncertainty and request missing material instead of inventing facts. Always compare extracted details with the original notice before acting.
Do I need an account?
You can begin a check without creating an account. Creating a free account makes it easier to return to your cases, purchased documents and progress later.
How is my uploaded PCN protected?
Uploaded PCN files are stored on the server for the case workflow and are not intended to be publicly browsable. Access to account-linked cases is controlled by the application. See the Privacy page for the service privacy information.
